JOB SUMMARY

The ACT Clinical Supervisor provides leadership and supervises a multi-disciplinary team providing an inclusive array of community-based services to individuals with a serious mental illness and who may have a co-occurring substance use diagnosis. Provides day-to-day leadership and program management of all facets if the ACT program. Remains current on all licensure, regulatory, and accreditation associated with ACT and makes recommendations for policy and procedure changes to clinical leadership. Provides mentoring and training to staff within the program to ensure provision of quality of care. Provides direct services as needed. 


Salary- $63,000-$95,000


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exemplifies and promotes the principles of Service Excellence in all actions and activities.
  • Applies principles of process improvement model to improve access to care and care coordination. 
  • Conducts chart reviews to ensure that staff are documenting according to program standards and according to policy.
  • Provides staff education and training as needed to ensure quality of care and consistency in practice.
  • Reviews and co-signs clinical documentation within assigned timeframes.
  • Collaborates with agency leaders and directors in the care delivered to consumers to ensure seamless, effective service delivery.
  • Provides individual, family, and group therapy according to consumer needs evidence-based practice fidelity.
  • Provides monthly group and individual clinical supervision to ACT staff.
  • Tracks and assists in scheduling 90-day Action plan reviews.
  • Monitors, assigns, and provides staff trainings.
  • Finalizes/approves bed board billing.
  • Oversees the delivery of quality case management and clinical services to all ACT consumers.
  • Oversees the safety of consumers and directs emergency situations that may arise.
  • Provides after hours’ availability to meet individual consumer needs.
  • Assists with marketing efforts to promote program.
  • Conducts quarterly/trainings as assigned.
  • Adheres to confidentiality, HIPAA, and risk management policies and procedures including but not limited to completing Incident Reports.
  • Participates in other functional work by participating in related projects, as applicable and directed by Center leadership. billing audit to ensure that ACT billing is done accurately.
  • Ensures all necessary reporting is submitted accurately and timely. 
  • Maintains a current working knowledge of center policies and procedures, licensure regulations, CARF Standards, Medicaid, and other regulatory bodies governing Prestera's service delivery.
  • Writes professional, quality reports and correspondence. 
  • Attends all departmental and center meetings.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervises staff that work in ACT program.


QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS


EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Three years of experience in behavioral health services, two of which must be in a supervisory capacity.
  • Driver’s license and reliable transportation required. 
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Ability to learn, navigate, and work with data to track outcomes, trends, and performance indicators.
  • Ability to address crisis situations to prevent a need for higher intervention. 
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills in conjunction with strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work with deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs.


EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling or Social Work. Licensure required.
  • Maintains First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Maintains current crisis prevention/intervention training.


KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

  • Scores an average minimum of 92% on customer satisfaction indicators would recommend.
  • Co-signs documentation within designated timeframes 100% of the time.
  • Incident reports are submitted timely an average minimum 98% of the time.
  • Ensures services are delivered per guidelines per week, every consumer, 97% of the time.
  • Sends in list of core ACT staff to validate team once a year.
